ROB|ARCH 2024: Robots in Architecture Student Grant
The Association for Robots in Architecture has created the grant to support undergraduate and graduate students who are actively engaged in research in the area of robotics in architecture, art, and design to attend the upcoming ROB|ARCH conference by providing free accommodations at the HOEM on Jarvis for 10 students from May 19-26, 2024.
Applicants are asked to submit a PDF of 2 pages in A4/Letter size. The first page should contain a short CV with a focus on robotics projects, and the second page should present a robotics project that the applicant has developed/contributed to. In the case of a larger project group, the applicant’s individual contribution should be made clear.
The 10 grant recipients will be selected by the Robots in Architecture Board. Students living within 50 km of Toronto are not eligible to apply.
Students must register for the conference within one week of receiving notification that they have been selected for a grant, otherwise the grant will be awarded to another student. If a selected student has already registered for the accommodation via the ROB|ARCH 24 booking platform, the costs will be refunded through the grant.
